- Each scan is viewed and, if required, manually adjusted by hand so as to produce optimal results.

TIFF format.

- Instead of providing your images in compressed JPG format, they can be saved in lossless, full resolution TIFF format.
- This will allow you to further edit images in the best possible resolution.
- This will also provide better print quality.
- TIFF files will be provided on USB flash drives.2
- Redundant sampling.

- To ensure the highest level of detail, slides can be sampled multiple times.
1 Image files can be provided in full resolution TIFF format. Note that these files will be extremely large, compared to JPG files.
2 JPG image files can be provided on flash drive(s) for an additional cost. TIFF image files includes the flash drive(s) at no added cost.
3 Notes on Damaged Film & Slides:
There may be images where the necessary repair is so extensive that it will require in depth attention in order to attempt to restore it. Typically, such instances are very rare, unless the film/slides have been handled and stored very poorly. There will be an additional charge for this optional service, but you will be advised in advance of any instances and given the option to have the extensive repair done. Some examples...
- Slide film that is warped may not scan in focus correctly. We can manually correct for this, but it may mean permanently removing the slide film from its casing so that it can be manually scanned.
- Damaged from excessive scratches and other factors may prevent optimal restoration of an image. Please refer to the restoration section as a reference for the type of additional restoration work that can be carried out.
